Terms and conditions

Last updated October 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Proloda website and apps, and the delivery services booked through them. By creating an account or booking a delivery, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Proloda is a delivery platform based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It connects customers who need something moved with independent drivers who have their own vehicles.

You can reach us at support@proloda.com.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Proloda. You need an account with a verified phone number to book a delivery, and you are responsible for everything done through it. Keep your login details to yourself and tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or puts drivers, customers or the public at risk.

3. Booking a delivery

A delivery is booked in the Proloda app. The website shows prices and hands you off to the app to confirm. When you confirm, you are asking a driver to collect your items from the pickup address and bring them to the drop-off address you entered.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the addresses, contact details and item descriptions you provide, and for making sure someone is available to hand over and receive the items.

4. Prices and payment

The price shown before you confirm is the price you pay, unless the delivery changes after booking (for example a new stop, a different vehicle, or waiting time beyond what is included). Any extra charges are explained in the app before they apply.

Payment is taken through the app using the payment method on your account. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellations

You can cancel a delivery in the app. Cancelling after a driver has been assigned and is on the way may carry a cancellation fee, shown in the app before you confirm the cancellation. If a driver cannot complete a delivery because nobody is available at the pickup or drop-off, the delivery may be treated as cancelled.

6. What you can send

You must not send anything illegal, dangerous, hazardous, perishable without suitable packaging, or that a driver could not reasonably carry in their vehicle. That includes weapons, illegal drugs, explosives, flammable materials, live animals, and cash or other items of exceptional value.

Items must be packed well enough to survive a normal road journey. Drivers can refuse an item that looks unsafe or does not match the description.

7. Drivers

Drivers on Proloda are independent contractors, not employees of Proloda. They choose when to work and which deliveries to accept. Proloda screens drivers before they can accept deliveries, but it does not supervise how a driver carries out a particular delivery.

If you drive with Proloda, the driver agreement you accepted in the driver app applies in addition to these terms.

8. Loss or damage

If an item is lost or damaged while it is with a driver, tell us within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery with photos and a description. Our liability for a single delivery is limited to the lesser of the declared value of the items or CAD 500, except where the law does not allow us to limit it.

We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by weather, road conditions, incorrect addresses, nobody being available to receive the items, or anything else outside our reasonable control.

9. Using the website and apps

You may use Proloda only for its intended purpose. Do not try to interfere with the service, access other people's accounts or data, copy or scrape the platform, or use it to harass drivers, customers or our team.

The Proloda name, logo, apps and website are owned by Proloda and its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them under these terms, and nothing more.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When the changes matter, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Proloda after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Saskatchewan, unless the law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
