Proloda Community Guidelines

Version 1, effective October 26, 2026.

These guidelines describe how drivers keep each other, customers and the public safe while delivering with Proloda. They form part of the Driver Services Agreement. If something here seems to conflict with that agreement, the agreement applies.

1. Drive safely

Follow traffic laws and posted limits, and never drive under the influence of alcohol, cannabis or any drug that affects your driving.

  • Do not hold your phone while driving. Set up navigation before you start, and pull over safely before you message or call.
  • Take breaks on long days. Driving while tired is as dangerous as driving while distracted.
  • Accept only jobs your vehicle and your licence class can carry safely.

2. Handle goods with care

  • Load, secure and unload every item carefully, and deliver it to the address in the app.
  • Take the delivery photos the app asks for when you drop goods off.
  • Never open, tamper with or keep anything you carry.
  • Refuse dangerous, illegal or prohibited items.
  • If an item is damaged or something is wrong before you deliver it, report a problem in the app before you finish the job.

3. Communicate respectfully

  • Be courteous with customers, other drivers and Proloda support.
  • Contact customers only through the app. Messages and calls in the app keep your phone number and theirs private.
  • Use a customer's name, address and contact details only to do the job.

4. Respect everyone

Treat every customer, driver and member of the public with dignity, whatever their background, identity or beliefs.

Proloda does not tolerate violence, threats, harassment, discrimination or theft. A credible report of any of them can lead to the removal of your access, as section 6 of the Driver Services Agreement explains, including when removal takes effect without notice.

5. Be honest

  • Tap I've arrived only when you are actually there, and never falsify your location.
  • Report a customer no-show only when it is real, after waiting as the Driver Services Agreement requires.
  • Keep your documents, insurance and vehicle details current.

6. In an emergency

Your safety comes first. If you or anyone else is in danger, call 911. Then report the incident in the app as soon as it is safe to do so; the report screen also reminds you to call 911.

Keep your phone charged and within reach while you are online.

7. Questions

If you have a question about these guidelines or about safety, contact Proloda Support in the app or at support@proloda.com.
